I downloaded and installed the Lync client from Technet, and found that I suffer from the crash problem documented in KB2634523. The fix these is to download and update to 14.0.1 but it won't let me install it - I get this error message: 'Lync 14.0.1 Update can't be installed on this disk. A version of the software required to install this update was not found on this volume.' I'm using a Macbook Air 11' running OSX Lion 10.7.2.
(For the record, I've followed a method that I found elsewhere on the Web to delete an 'Unknown' certificate from Keychain, which works - so really, I'm looking to get this fixed more out of a sense of obsessive compulsiveness than anything!).

Since I updated OS X to 10.8.5 a week ago, I have issues signing in with Microsoft Lync: the program crashes every time. Usb to rj45 lan network ethernet card cable adapter card for mac. I never had issues before so I thought the latest OS update caused the issue, however all my colleagues can use Lync as before.
I installed all Microsoft updates as well.
