Dirk - I have a new Macbook pro (OSX 10.7.5), a new iRF Explorer, trying to use with your Mac v1.8 + SiLabsUSBDriver and (2) new USB cables. My problem is that iRF v1.8 won't recognize the iRF Explorer hardware. After I plug it in, turn on the Explorer and launch the software, it just says 'Waiting for connection'. I then go up to preferences and switch SERIAL DEVICE from Bluetooth-PDA-Sync to SLABUSBtpoUART, but it still doesn't connect. I've re-installed the Mac 1.8 software & driver several times, tried 2 different USB cables etc, etc.
But nothing seems to work. Thanks, Jamie Scarpuzza JamieSound 4/12/2012, 9:41 น. Would I currently recommend the iRF system to anyone with a Mac? With that, I hope they come out with a fully supported Mac version in the future.
Good to hear. And I assume that with 'wiping off' you mean the USB drivers of Silicon Labs (as iRFExplorer does not install anything itself; and leaves little state)? JamieSound 4/12/2012, 9:51 น.
